Emil

Emil has been playing TTRPGs for over 8 years and GMing for about 6 years. He loves challenging his Players with unique Encounters and hard Choices.  He started playing TTRPG with the Dark Eye, the successful german TTRPG with a group of friends. He was hooked from the very first session where he and his friends had to stop some old demon. From there his love only grew as he discovered GMing for himself as well as other Systems like Contact, the Sci-Fi Agent Game, or Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition. Nowadays he runs 4 Campaigns, in different Systems like D&D, Vampire the Masquerade, and Fate.

NILs

Nils has been playing TTRPGs for about 5 years and GMing since the very beginning. He creates engaging Storypaths for his Players to carve and intriguing Storylines. He started with a german Roleplaying System called T.E.A.R.S. with a group of friends. Since the very beginning of his TTRPG Career, he always knew the Side of the GM Screen and tried his hands in a few Systems, but settled on D&D 5th Edition as his main system for now to create his engaging Stories.

Nils also draws all the Art for the Show, like the Logo, Banners, and everything else.

DoubleDM was created with the Idea in Mind that both Hosts want to always improve their GM Style and learn from each other, this sparked Discussions among them and GM Friends. Emil was already in the #TTRPGFamily Twitter Scene and had the brilliant idea to record these Talks and upload them, so both Emil and Nils would have a Backlog of Past Discussions as well as maybe give other People out there some Advice. The DoubleDM Discussion Podcast focuses on asking critical and interesting Questions while the Hosts are frequently joined by various Guests to discuss those questions and inspire the Listeners to think about the Question themselves and create their own unique Answer and DM Style to enhance and further their own Craft.
