We are DoubleDM, a TTRPG Discussion Podcast focused on Deep-Dive Discussion into a single topic every week to find what makes our Games better and ourselves better GMs. We both have been playing TTRPGs for the better part of a decade and both wanted to create some Content of our own. We settled on a Podcast focused on improving our GM Styles by talking about Topics in a deep dive discussion, this is how DoubleDM Podcast was born. Our aim with this Podcast is mainly to improve ourselves by discovering deeper meanings behind topics and asking questions everyone has to answer for themselves to become the best DM they can be.

One of the biggest pieces of advice you hear about creating the best villains is to make them Morally Gray, Understandable, and maybe somehow fixable… But is that actually great advice, or does this just create problems around the table when we want to whack some bad guys?
Yes and No, the answer is as always “It Depends”, on one hand a villain should be complex with motives, feelings, and goals that make sense yet seem twisted, but at the same time, there is just a good feeling about hitting the forces of evil in the face.
